The Met Opera Guild's SUMMER SERIES is proving to be a booming operation, in its first summer, and I am humbly honored to have launched this series.
On June 9, the series, on the theme of Puccini Death Scenes, continues with Puccini's Tosca-two suicides a murder and an execution. Wow...all the ingredients of fulfilling verismo opera, that fans dream about! And, apropos, this series is selling like "hot cakes". What fun!
